“Bitch, what did you just say!? Jimmy was just trying to be nice and offer you a chance to party with us! You should just accept his kindness!” A girl wearing short shorts and a tank top shouted at me as she began walking over. I could see that she didn’t even wear a bra, so I had no idea why she was setting herself up for pain.

“Just like how you accepted them all as they took your virginity at the same time?” I asked casually. I was still as calm as before. I mean, with my current strength and speed, how could any of these people here do anything to me? Even with needing to protect Jen, they wouldn’t be able to do anything to me.

“Pfft! Ahaha! Sam, she told you!” Another girl who was at the side burst out laughing. She had red hair that went down to her waist and was sitting in a young man’s lap who looked to be around twenty-five years old. From the looks of it, out of all of them, this young man was the toughest-looking one there.

“Girl, you said too much just now.” The young man who was holding the red head suddenly said. I looked at him and snorted.

“And your friend can keep eyeing my friend with his lustful eyes? And this no-bra girl here can call me a bitch as she pleases? How about I kick all of your asses here and now and see if you can talk shit after I am done with you?” One thing I learned in the apocalypse was to never take shit from anyone. 

“You talk a lot of shi…. Ooff!” I couldn’t help but punch the no-bra girl. She reached out to grab me. If I did not move, there was no telling what she might have done. 

The no-bra girl fell to the ground, holding her nose, which was now bleeding, while everyone stood there stunned at what had just happened. “You all saw it! She tried to touch me, so I hit her in self-defense.”

“You little bitch!” Someone finally reacted. It was the young man who kept trying to invite us to party. He got up and was about to charge over when the leader of the group suddenly shouted: “Enough! Sit the fuck down! What she said is correct. If someone rejects you, why are you trying to push them into partying? Just cut the shit. Since Sam decided to try to make a move, it’s her own fault for being beaten.”

I raised an eyebrow and looked at the leader of the group. My eyes swept over the red head who winked at me. I guess she said something. I gave her a nod before grabbing Jen’s hand and pulling her along. At least now I can go order my food. 

We walked into the pizza shop and up to the counter, where Jen and I ordered subs. I got a steak and cheese with banana peppers and pickles, while she got a turkey sub with lettuce and tomato. We sat down at a table not close to the front windows while we waited. 

“Ai, they won’t follow us, right?” Jen was worried as always. It was good to have a friend who worried about things. But in this case, the worry was unneeded. 

“Even if they did, I would just beat them up. I mean, what can they do? You remember what happened earlier with those kids who rushed at us when we faced Amanda? They will all end up the same. Although I might not hold back as much and might end up crippling them.” I was not joking. If they dared to follow behind us to see where we lived, I would definitely not let them off lightly.

“Okay….” Jen did not seem convinced, but there was nothing I could do about that.

By the time we left the pizza shop, the group from before had long left. With our subs in hand, we walked to Jen’s house, where we got her things together before heading to my house, where we finally got to sit down to eat.

“Geh, slightly cold.” I frowned when I took a bite of my sub. 

“Sorry.” Jen lowered her head, which made me sigh.

“Jen, why are you sorry? It’s not like you stood at the side blowing cold air on it.” I said with a small chuckle. “But if you are really sorry, then take a bath with me tonight so I can see if your boobs have gotten bigger.”

“Okay….” I was only joking, but seeing Jen agreeing while blushing made me wonder if this girl wanted me to grab her boobs or not. I had only been kidding, but I do not mind taking a bath with my beautiful friend. Everyone likes to look at beautiful things, after all.

“Ai, are we really going to be skipping school from now on?” Jen asked softly. I guess she had many questions on her mind now.

“Yep. The two of us will be together from morning to night from now on. We will be stuck together like an old married couple.” I replied jokingly. 

“Will…. Will you teach me how to fight? I want to be able to protect myself….” Hearing Jen’s question, I now understood that Jen felt insecure about herself. 

I stood up, walked over to Jen, and draped my hands over her shoulders, hugging her. “Jen, I will teach you everything I can. I want you to survive no matter what.”
