Shizuku and Mei stood outside the dungeon. The presence of those watching them seemed to increase by a lot. “Let’s go, Mei.”

Not far away, a group of men watched as the two girls entered the dungeon and grinned with lust-filled gazes. “Let’s go teach that Fallen and her slave what it means to be in a human city.”

“Yes, Boss!” The four men behind the so-called boss all had equally lust-filled thoughts in their minds.

The group of five men rushed inside the dungeon, but what they were met with was not two girls getting ready to fight but just the normal everyday riff-raff. “Maybe they went deeper in….”

The group of men continued into the dungeon. They searched every passageway and room but did not see any sign of the girls inside. They even left the dungeon to ask their lookout if they had seen them come out, but they, too, had not seen them. “Maybe they went to the second floor. Boys, let’s go!”

 Fourth floor…

“Boss, if we go any deeper, we will die!” one of the lackeys yelled out.

“Damn it! Where the hell did they go!?”  The so-called boss was very confused. They had searched and searched but did not find them at all. Every time they cleared a floor, they would return to the surface to see if they had already left the dungeon. From what he knew, based on the information he was given, they were only level 1 a few days ago. At most, they could only be level 3 by now…

But currently, in another instance of the dungeon, Shizuku and Mei were doing very well.

“Level 9!” Shizuku yelled out happily.

Both girls had jumped three levels, and their stats were looking because Shizuku no longer fought by herself; her teamwork with Mei was coming along nicely. It was not so good that they could communicate without words just yet, but they were getting closer and closer with each battle.

“But to think there were so many horned rabbits here…. But now that I think about it, the first floor was nothing but slimes…. Mei, what do you think?” Shizuku had no idea what was going on. According to Amy, at the guild, the first floor should have had horned rabbits, slimes, and silkworms. But even after clearing out the entire first floor, there were still only slimes. On the second floor, only horned rabbits.

“I think we can go to the sixth floor without issues. From what Amy told us today, the second floor should have earth turtles, higher-level silk worms, higher-level horned rabbits, and ice butterflies. And even then, we might be pushing it. She said that the earth turtles and ice butterflies were very tricky.” Mei gave her two cents. It was probably the most words she had spoken her entire life.

“Well, if we got three levels from clearing this floor, then let’s go clear down to the sixth floor. There are also safe rooms as well so we can take our time. No need to go back right away.” Shizuku did not mind staying a night or two in the dungeon. She had mentioned it to Margret before, and she heard that it happens all the time. She wanted to get as many drops as she could. They had brought with them five sacks this time, so they could at least go until they filled them.

“Master…. We should think about getting a space pouch. Even a cheaper one will be better than these sacks.” Mei couldn’t help but frown at the sacks. While two floors had only filled one-half full, just thinking about lugging five full ones gave her a headache.

“Space pouch! Why did no one tell me about those!?” Shizuku did not think there was such an item in this world. But then again, it made sense. This was a world of magic, after all!

“I think it’s because the stores that sell them are all under the church. I heard this from a few people who were in the slave tent to buy slaves. The slave trader asked the man where he got his space pouch before.” Mei explained.

“Hmm… Then maybe I can get Margret to go. To be honest, I do not wish to deal with idiots. I do not know what the highest level is in the church, but whatever it is, I need to surpass it.” Shizuku made this her current goal. She would first out-level this dungeon for as long as she could, then head out into the world and begin farming harder dungeons until she finally could go beat up the pope or whatever he was called in peace.

Mei tried to remember if anyone had ever mentioned that before during her stay at the slave trader, but many of her memories were just a blur. She had always been wanting death but was too afraid to kill herself. So she was spaced out most of the time, wondering when the slave trader would finally dispose of her. But luckily, this never happened. Otherwise…. She would never have met her Master.
