“Knight Liandra! You must avenge me!” The priest, who was just healed, hugged Liandra’s leg. He wanted nothing more than to kill that damned Fallen.

“Do not worry, I will go speak with her and deal with the situation, but you also know the stance of the church at this time with this Fallen. While we are to kill Fallen on sight, we can not do so with this one at this time.” Liandra did not think the priest did anything wrong but she could not do anything to Shizuku at this time. Not until the church finally allowed them to.

“I understand. But is there nothing that can be done?” The priest could not let things go so easily,

“While I can not do much to her, I can at least make her pay healing fees for harming you. I will make her pay ten gold. How is that?” Liandra asked not that the priest had any other choice.

“Alright….” The priest nodded. He was not happy, but it was at least something.

“What about me!?” The shop owner who overheard this felt he was being treated unfairly.

“You did not receive any bodily harm. So, I can not get you any healing fees. As I said before, you will need to wait until the church changes its stance. Now, I must go speak with the Fallen.” Liandra ignored the shop owner and walked down the street. The people who were watching the show quickly moved out of the way.

The shop owner could only swallow back his anger as he watched Liandra walk away. He knew if he was a priest, she would have done something for him, but since he was nothing more than a shop owner, he could only swallow the loss.

And the one who caused all this drama was currently walking slowly down the street to the inn. Shizuku held the two space pouches in her hand before handing the one that carried more over to Mei. “Mei, you hold this one. I will keep the smaller one for money.”

Mei took the space pouch without question and stuffed it in her shirt. “Master, are we going back to the inn?”

“Mm… we will stop by to give Margret the companion stone so we can contact her while in the dungeon. I plan to stay for a while this time. I want to try to hit level 20 as soon as possible.” Shizuku’s main concern was to level up quickly. She did not care about touring much of the city. Once she was strong enough to leave the city, she would then she would begin looking more at this new world she was in.

“Halt!” A voice came from behind them. Shizuku turned to see a woman adorned in silver armor and a white cloak running over with her hand on the hilt of her sword. Shizuku felt that this woman was not here to make friends.

“Ignore her. Let’s go.” Shizuku decided that the woman did not exist.

Sadly, the woman had no plans to let Shizuku go. With sword drawn, and swung it down towards Shizuku. She did not plan to hit Shizuku with it but to block her path but what she did not expect was that her blade would be caught by a white delicate hand. “What is the meaning of this?”

Blood dripped from Shizuku’s palm. The blood seemed to come alive as it rose up into the air and turned into a snake winding around the sword’s blade, rushing towards the woman. The woman was shocked by the sudden turn of events and quickly released her sword. But as she did, she turned her body and kicked the sword with her foot, trying to knock it away, but felt a strong pain in her foot as a spear of blood shot through it.

“You!” The woman stumbled back, enduring the pain in her foot as she stared at Shizuku.

“What you!? You attacked me out of nowhere! Am I not allowed to defend myself!?” Shizuku asked coldly. A sword made of blood formed in her hand. But now that she was getting a good look at who this person was, she frowned. “Are you the holy knight who showed up at the store down the street? Why did you attack me just now? Does everyone in this kingdom attack people for no reason? First the priest, now you? Tell me, what wrong have I committed?”

Shizuku’s words stunned Liandra. “What do you mean? Did you not have your slave beat a priest in the street?”

“Huh? The priest who attacked me for being a Fallen while all I wanted to do was some shopping? Do you mean that idiot? If so, then yes. He attacked me first, and my cute little Mei beat him up. He deserved it. I hope you do not think you humans can do no wrong. Each one of those damn bastards who look down on others is wrong from the start. I am sure you know I am supposed to be a summoned hero. So why are you chasing after me, miss holy knight, instead of cleaning up the church filled with jackasses?”

It was clear as day that Shizuku was not in a good mood. She was sick and tired of being questioned left and right and attacked for no reason. She had done nothing wrong to start but she was not going to allow people to bully her or Mei.
