Shizuku’s room was up on the second floor. It was a single room with a small bathroom. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and a toilet. There was a sink attached to the back of the toilet, which saved space. While small, it was perfect for her, who was a single person.

“So this will be my home for the time being…” She had used a single gold coin to pay for all expenses. Even the blood that was delivered by Mitch was stored away in a cool place to preserve it. Margret seemed to be very willing to help her out. If this was a novel, Shizuku would consider this plot armor but sadly, she just got lucky. If it were not for the fact that some of the citizens of this kingdom did not buy into the rhetoric the church was spewing out of their mouths, she would not be having such a good time and probably would have had to leave the kingdom just to survive.

“I guess I need to get some proper clothing first. If I want to become an adventurer, I can not be wearing robes.” Shizuku also did not wish to keep wearing the gaudy robes she was given. Even if they were able to let her dungeon dive just fine, she did not want to be associated with the church.

With her room now secured, Shizuku went back downstairs after making sure the door was locked. She looked around for Margret, who she found in the kitchen cleaning up. “Margret, do you know where I can find decent armor?”

“Armor?” Margret looked up, her bulging muscles glistening under the light of the room due to the sweat she worked up while cleaning. This made Shizuku want to turn her head and gag, but she held back. “Then I guess Old Buldarg’s place. He and his wife Nora do everything from armor to leather. Best of all, they are like Mitch and his wife, as well as myself. They will not turn you away. When you leave here, if you take a right and go down the street, you want to take your next right. The smithy will be on your left about six houses down. It’s called the Long Beard Smithy. Oh right. They also sell other clothes as well. So you can get everything in one go. A girl must have enough undergarments!”

“Okay, thanks!” Shizuku gave her thanks before running out the door. She had a bright smile on her face as she made her way down the street. She was happy to know she had found one more place that would not look down on her.

She figured after she got home, she could finally check out her status screen. The only reason she did not do it ahead of time was because she wanted to get her armor first. She did not need a weapon just yet until she could figure other things out, but for now, she planned to at least get some clothes and her armor to start.

Once more, she got stares from the people around her as she made her way down the street, but nothing more. No one said a word to her or tried to stop her. It took ten minutes to get to her destination, which she found easily since it was hard to miss the strange sign that hovered over the shop. It was an engraving of a long beard with long ears on each side of it, and underneath was the name of the shop.

Shizuku walked into the shop to see a young woman behind the counter with a thread and needle in her hand. The bell above the door rang, announcing Shizuku’s arrival, causing the young woman to lift her head. She looked no more than sixteen years old and looked very beautiful. “Can I help you?”

“Ah, yes. I am here to get a few things.” Shizuku began listing off the things she needed, and the woman smiled, knowing she was about to make a big profit.

“For clothes, you can pick out whatever you need, but for armor, can you tell me your class?” The young woman’s hair swayed, revealing her long, pointy ears. Shizuku only now realized the woman was an elf. Which meant the woman’s age was probably much, much older than she looked.

“Yes. As you can see, I am a vampire, and my class is Blood Medic.” Shizuku replied, causing the young woman’s brows to rise.

“Such a rare class. In all my years, I think I have only seen the class once. I do not even think if you went to the capital of Dracluna, you would find anyone with the class. My name is Nora, and I will do what I can to help. A Blood Medic should wear light armor since they will need to move around a lot. But from what I know, they can also use their blood as a weapon, so….” Nora tapped her chin for a moment before saying: “Look at the clothes you will need for day to day wear. I will be right back. I might have something that will fit you perfectly.”

“Thanks!” Shizuku smiled and walked over to the daily clothes section. The store was quite big. Kind of like a small outlet store you would see on Earth. What really amazed her was that the clothes here were very well made. They were not rough in the slightest and used high quality materials. As for the price… Shizuku did not know the standard pricing in this world, so she was not sure, but the clothing here all cost a few silver each.
