Shizuku stood at the open door and looked at the monster ghoul standing in the middle of the room and sighed. “I will kill it. You girls stay here.”

Shizuku did not want to even get close to any undead, but she had no choice in this matter. She walked forward and quickly dispatched the boss-type monster. The boss did not even have a chance to fight before her microscopic bloody needles rained down on it, instantly killing it.

“Remind me never to anger Master….” Mei knew Shizuku was strong, but this was just crazy. She took out the boss like it was nothing.

“It’s only because she has a huge advantage. Her knowledge of Earth helps her do things many would not think of, like her bloody needles. Those are able to penetrate down to a cellular level. She is basically breaking the boss’s body down, which allows her to kill it quickly. She has been allowing us to fight these fights so that the two of us can get more training in. If she wanted to, she could finish everything instantly. I just do not think Shizu realizes just how strong she is.” Miyumi felt that out of the entire group of summoned heroes, Shizuku was probably the one who could be called a true hero. Her ability to manipulate blood was scary.

“It’s dead! It dropped a strange thing….” Shizuku was looking at the item in her hand. She held it up to the other two and asked: “Any idea what this is?”

“It’s a mythic ranked consumable. It will raise one of your stats by one hundred points permanently. Master this item is something that is only talked about in legends. The stat it chooses is random, though.” Mei had heard stories from passersby who came to the slave caravan talking about such things. She couldn’t believe she would be able to see one, though.

“Hmmm…” Shizuku was at a bit of a loss. She did want to consume it, but there were three of them. “Can we split it?”

“No. It has to be fully consumed before it will take effect.” Mei replied. “Master, you soloed the boss, so it is yours. This is probably why it dropped in the first place.”

“Yeah, Shizu, just eat it.” Miyumi couldn’t say she was not interested, but she knew now was not the time to be greedy. Shizuku had soloed the boss after all.

“Then…” Shizuku took a deep breath and let it out slowly before opening her mouth as wide as she could and studded the purple-looking fruit thing into her mouth. “Guh! It’s awful!”

The fruit-looking thing tasted so bitter that Shizuku almost puked it up, but she held it down. “Guh… this… that was bad….”

“Was it really that bad?” Miyumi asked curiously. She did not know if Shizuku was overacting or not, but her question was soon answered when Shizuku walked over and kissed her. “Aw! Shizu!” Miyumi’s eyes teared up. The bitter taste in Shizuku’s mouth passed to her and it was stinging her eyes.

“Hehe.” Shizku grinned as she opened up her menu.

“That raised my vitality. So now I have 1420 health and blood. I kind of lucked out on this one since having so little blood was kind of pushing it sometimes.” Shizuku was quite happy about this boost. To have 100 points in vitality would allow her to do so much more later on. Not to mention live a lot longer.

“So what now?” Mei asked.

“We go upstairs. We cleared the two halls and got the purple orb, so we should be able to use it somewhere upstairs.” Shizuku replied.

“Should we take a small break first?” Miyumi asked as she rubbed her belly.

“Ah right… Sorry, I forgot that you two haven’t eaten yet.” Shizuku blushed slightly as she looked around and found a bench. She walked over and cleaned it off so her two wives could sit down. “Sit here. I will look around a bit.”

“Don’t go too far. We do not know what is in this place.” Miyumi warned.

“I know.” Shizuku walked over to a bookshelf, pulled one of the books off, and opened it up. “The history of Glinland.” Shizuku took the book and walked over to the bench and sat on the floor next to it. The two girls were currently setting up a fire so they could cook some meat.

Shizuku opened the book and started reading the first page. “Glinland…. The Kingdom that rose from the ashes after the world was destroyed. It was the place where all the survivors gathered and began to rebuild some form of civil life.”
