"It seems you have learned much since our last encounter!" Olivia yelled out as her sword, and the old hags broom clashed.

"Do not think it will be as easy as it was before!" The old hag yelled back. The two were really going at it in the middle of the field.

And while they were fighting away, Lexy was making her way around the herb field, taking plant after plant. She found that these plants, unlike the one in the forest, were growing in loose dirt, so if she grabbed it by the very base of the plant and gave it a good tug, it would come up with ease. So she had already harvested over a thousand plants already. And as she was doing that, she was humming away happily.

She knew to stay away from the two fighting, so that was why she moved in a circle around the field. This way, she would be out of the old hag's detection zone for the time being. She would have about eighty percent of the field in her inventory if she continued like she was before the old hag would notice anything off.

"Taste my thousand sword whirlwind! How about my super ultra sword strike!?" Olivia was calling out all these crazy sword skill names, but they were not even skills, just regular attacks.

This actually made Lexy wonder just how did one acquire skills in this game. She had seen a few mages out in the fields firing off spells, so there must be some kind of way to learn skills. She did not see any kind of window for skills which made her wonder if it was like the social window where it was only available when you befriended someone. But in the case of spells, it was when you learned one yourself.

"Gah! You have improved your super ultra sword strike since we last met!" The old hag seemed to be overwhelmed. She acted as if the strike just now was something amazing when it was nothing more than an overhanded attack.

"Ahahaha! Feel my amazing power!" Olivia was on cloud nine. She seemed to be really enjoying herself as she fought the old hag.

The battle between the two and the harvesting of the one continued on as the night turned into day. It was only in the wee hours of the morning when both Olivia and the old hag were staggering back and forth out of breath that the old hag finally realized something was wrong. "My field! What happened to my field!?" She looked around and finally spotted a silver haired tail bobbing up and down as plants disappeared one after the other. "Ahhh! You damn crazy cat girl!"

"Opening!" Olivia yelled as she bashed the old hag on the head with the flat side of her blade. The old hag wasn't able to block it and fell to the ground, completely knocked out. "I win again!"

Striking a heroic pose, Olivia stuck her nose in the air. Lexy wondered if she should tell Olivia she looked like a villain with how she was stepping on an old woman's back, acting all victorious. She opened her mouth and was about to say something but closed it and went back to foraging. "No sense in helping the old hag out..."

With Olivia helping harvest plants, they finished the last few rows quickly, and as Lexy pulled out the last plant, a message appeared before her.

[Foraging Skill Acquired]

[A passive skill that speeds up foraging by ten times.]

"Oh! I got a skill!" Although she had no idea how foraging would be sped up by ten times…

"That is to be expected after harvesting so much. I got mine as well when I first raided this place. The foraging skill is one of the hardest to get and needs you to harvest many, many plants. Most do not get it until they are level fifty or more. You must have heard me call out crazy names, right? Well, that is the only way to really get skills. Do the same kind of move over and over while calling out a name until it finally becomes a skill. It might be embarrassing at first, but you will get used to it after a while." Olivia explained.

Lexy now understood that Olivia wasn't calling out crazy names just because. She was actually trying to create a skill. But this concept was not bad. You could basically create any skill you could think of if you were able to pull it off. "Hmm…  Olivia, does the skill get better after you have created a skill?"

"Yep! It will be an activated skill, so basically, you just need to aim, call out its name, and your body will move like it should automatically. It feels strange at first, but you will get used to it. Now then, let's get out of here before the old lady wakes up." Olivia grabbed Lexy's hand and pulled her along. She made sure to step on the old hag's head as they made their way towards the ladder.

Later that day, the old hag made a huge fuss with the city guards. But not a single one of them listened nor cared about the old hag's complaints. She had not realized that she had burned her bridges with most of the townsfolk. This included a good amount of the guards as well who were either banned or charged outrageous prices for her goods. Because of this, the small stall that was now a wood stand instead of a blanket was the place to go for potions. Even the two guards who made fun of her before apologized and asked to buy some of her stock. As Lexy was one to not hold grudges too much, she only charged double the price, which was still much cheaper than what they would have had to pay at the old hag's place.

With all this money Lexy was making, she planned to buy herself some proper gear. She would sell out completely and then close up shop. She, of course, would keep a stockpile for herself as well. And just like that, within almost a week's time, Lexy had secured herself a starting amount of around one hundred and fifty gold.
