Eve had no intentions of being stealthy any longer. She rushed down the stairs and began running as fast as she could across the bridge. "Eve, don't go straight through to the end jump from the bridge to the road."

"Got it!" Eve had one hundred percent trust in Aiu's decision-making. So she did not question it one bit as she began running at the fastest speed she could without breaking anything. But even still, this was thirty-two kilometers per hour. Faster than any human could run, that was for sure.

There were two more full armored people on the bridge walking towards the main gate. As Eve ran by them, she gave them both a strong shove sending them flying off the bridge and into the waters. She did not care if they survived or not at this point since her life was now completely on the line with how she was fully exposed. She had done things so quickly that the two guards had no idea what was going on until they hit the water, but by the time they were able to contact anyone, it was already too late.

Eve continued as fast as she could across the bridge until Aiu's voice sounded off in her mind. "In one minute, use the rocks to launch yourself over to the other shore on the right side. "

"Mm..." Eve pushed forward, getting herself ready to make her jump as the gate to the bridge was getting closer and closer. The seconds began counting down, and when it hit zero, Eve stepped off the side of the bridge, found a solid foothold, and pushed off with everything she had.

Her entire body launched into the air up and over the watery gap. Eve followed Aiu's orders and tucked and rolled as she landed on the other side before getting back up and taking off running towards the buildings on the other side of the road.

Eve thought she was in the free and clear until she heard the sound of a machine gun firing from behind her. "Shit!"

"Eve, just keep going! They are not chasing!" As Aiu said this, clinking sounds could be heard as bullets hit the armor she was wearing. Luckily the armor was actually doing its job and not penetrating through. Although she had a metal body, Eve was worried about the wires that were not completely secure as of yet. If a bullet grazed one of the wires, she would end up losing the functionality of her lower legs.

But luckily, with her speed, she was able to quickly get out of their line of sight. But this did not mean she was stopping any time soon as she continued to run through the desolate streets and in between the buildings for almost two hours before finally slowing down and ducking into a fairly well hidden alley.

Eve hid behind some rubble and finally sat down. "Aiu, damage report."

"You took no damage. The armor suit held up well. Although that sprint reduced your battery by ten percent." Aiu informed.

[Battery%]: 70 → 60/100

"Ahh! This battery is shit!" Eve couldn't help but complain as she kicked her legs out in frustration. She only ran a few hours, and her battery dropped by ten percent. She had such crappy parts that she wanted to scream, but she knew better. "I heard some messages after I landed saying something about the mission being completed and a new mission. Aiu, open Astral Desk."

[Mission started: Enter X-Cyber City.]

As soon as Astral Desk opened, she was met with another mission. She looked at the desktop to see two new programs: Astral Mission Log and Astral Shop. Eve first opened Astral Mission Log, and just as the name stated, it had a list of her missions and those that were completed. "Let's see, create a base of operations? My guess is this is a long-term mission since creating a base would take a long time, but this other one is to enter X-Cyber City and gives five points, but where is this city? I guess I will need to figure that out on my own. For now, let's check this shop thing."

Eve opened the Astral Shop application to see another menu appear in front of her. It was like an online shopping store. It had categories such as manuals to learn different things from math to weapons training. Then there was the parts section which had parts for everything. Prices ranged from one shop point to billions. When Eve clicked on a part to check it out, one thing really stood out to her. "Auto equip? Does this mean that as soon as I buy it, it will replace what is already on my body?"

As Eve was thinking whether or not to test it out, Aiu spoke up and said: "If there is an auto equip function, I think it might be good to try and see if there is a battery upgrade we can get for cheap. If it is better than what we have and will do this 'auto equip,' as in replacing it without the other item needing to be removed first, it might be worth it. I mean, this whole thing about us being reborn into this body and these missions is already an out of this world thing we can not explain, so let's take things in stride and just test it out. It could work as we are thinking."

"It surprises me that you are thinking in such a way, Aiu. Normally you are very science fact." Eve used to joke with Aiu about the unexplained all the time, but she would always shoot her down, so this was very strange.

"Well when we are getting strange missions and points along with  new programs without  actually doing anything, plus what has happened to us, my views on things will naturally change."
