The next morning Lilly was like a zombie as she sat up in the bed. Her hair was all over the place as she squinted her eyes and looked around the room. She smacked her lips before wiping her mouth. "Toilet..." Lilly rubbed her stomach, rolled out of bed, and walked over to the bather section of her apartment, and closed the curtain behind her.

Eve chuckled quietly to herself as she saw the whole scene displayed out in front of her. "She is more like you than I expected."  Aiu chimed in.

"Was I really that bad?" Eve asked.

"You would wake up just like that, stripped down to nothing with the lights on and window shades wide open, to wash up in the sink. If I was not quick, you would have exposed your little white behind many times over." Aiu replied. It was not like it was a once or twice thing. She did it almost every time she woke up!

"Oh..." Eve pursed her imaginary lips. She scooped up Tezz, who was in a low energy state, in her lap and placed her on her shoulder. "Today is the day that we start repairs!"

Eve was really excited. She wanted to get her repairs done as soon as possible. Only then could she really begin to settle in, in X-Cyber City. "What the fuck did I eat!?" Eve turned to look at the curtain that was closed and let out a laugh. She could not keep it in.

"Eve, it's not funny!" Lilly yelled from behind the curtain. This only made Eve laugh harder.

After her fierce battle on the toilet, Lilly finally pulled the current back with a pouty lip as she looked at Eve. "You're so mean! My stomach was killing me, and you were just laughing!"

"Haha! It's not like I can do anything for you. I told you there was fuzzy stuff on the food you were eating." Eve replied.

"But, wasting food is bad. It is already expensive." Lilly pouted more before letting out a long sigh. She ran her fingers through her hair and walked over to her computer, and sat down. She propped one foot on top of her chair and rested her chin on her knee. "I will go out today and buy a new pc set up for you. Do you have any specs you need?"

"You really don't nee..." Eve was going to reject the kind off, but Lilly spoke up.

"Your rejection is rejected. I hope you will be willing to stay here with Tezz and me. Think of it as me buying you off." Lilly said with a sly grin. She was worried about Eve getting caught if she went off on her own. "Plus, you said you would protect me, so you have to stay."

Eve looked at Lilly and sighed. "Alright, you win..."

[Mission completed: Create Base of operation.]

"Eh!? Just like that!? But I didn't create anything!" Eve was stunned by the sudden mission completion. It was not that she was not happy to see her shop points go up, but the mission said she had to create a place that was one of the reasons why she didn't give Lilly an answer right away before.

"This puts you in a good place, though, Eve. You no longer have to worry about finding a new place to stay, and you will also have a competent partner to help you out when you need it. Although I was skeptical of her at first, Lilly seems to be a really good girl." Aiu thought this was a sign for her to stay put. It was a good place, after all. The conditions were perfect for Eve.

"You are right!" Eve also felt the same. This place was just to her liking.

[Mission started: Repair body and fit into society.]

While Eve was having an inner monologue with Aiu, Lilly was happily humming away as she swung her leg back and forth. "So! What specs do you want?"

"Whatever is cheapest! Programs for development do not need much processing power. You can actually do a lot if you know how to manipulate the processing speed of a computer." Eve replied.

"Then I will get something like mine then. It is fast but still cheap. I will get ready in a bit and run out to get you one. I will make room here on this desk so we can sit next to each other. Oh, right, you will need a chair too!" Lilly started to get excited as she did her thing. She made a quick breakfast and a cup of coffee before getting dressed and taking off, leaving Eve and Tezz behind.

"Tezz, is she always like this?" Eve asked.

"Today, it seems she is more excited than usual. It seems having someone who can do things with her has put her in a good mood." Tezz replied.

"Do you want a bigger body?" Eve wondered if Tezz was jealous or not. It was always possible for her to gain a new body if she so wished for it.

"No… I will keep the body Lilly created for me with much love and care. But can I ask you to be by Lilly's side for me? And do the things I can not?" Tezz asked. She really cared about Lilly's happiness.

"Not just me, you as well. Once I get my body rebuilt, I will create a way for the both of us to bypass security then you can come with us on our journeys. Wouldn't a mother-daughter outing be nice?" Eve asked. She wanted to give Tezz the ability to stay with Lilly as much as possible. Because whether she said it or not, Eve could tell Tezz felt left out.

"If that is actually possible then yes! Thank you Eve!" Tezz hugged Eve's neck feeling extremely happy. She never thought that she would be able to leave the house because she was too intelligent for others to see. But if she could bypass security then… It was time like this that Tezz wished she could do that human thing called crying.
