“Mr., your meat skewers are pretty good.” Myu smiled as she bit into another piece of meat.

“Haha. I am glad you like them, lass. Since you like them so much, have another on the house.” The middle aged man behind the counter couldn’t resist giving the smiling kid a free skewer. As he pulled it off the burner and went to hand it out, his eyes fell on to the man with a nasty look in his eye that was marching over towards them. “Little miss, you should come around the side here. The man behind you seems to be looking for….”

*Bang!*

Dio had drawn his sword just before reaching Myu and slashed it down toward her. But what he did not expect was that the little girl would not even turn to look at him as she reached out with her little hand and blocked the blow. The stone under her feet cracked as she sunk down slightly. Dio was by no means weak, so for such a little girl to have such strength startled not only him but everyone around them.

Myu felt pain in her hand. The sword had cut deep into her and even cracked the bone. But that pain slowly began to subside as flames burst out of her palm, melting the metal blade into molten lava and dripping down from her hand and onto the ground, the wound that was once there rapidly healing. Myu turned her head and coldly looked at Dio, who was obviously in a state of shock.

“Wha!? How!? Your hand and arm should have been split in two!” He did not understand what had just happened.

“Oi…. Pervert from earlier. Kori did not want you, so you come and take your anger out on a little girl? Do you wish to die? Do you not even realize that you are only alive because Kori asked me to spare you?” Myu’s entire body began to flare up with flames, her hair dancing wildly.

The man behind the counter of the stall quickly stepped back. He had never seen such a phenomenon before. The little girl seemed to be flames herself. She did not seem human at all. She was like a goddess of fire who had descended from the heavens.

“I guess since you came at me with the intent to kill, then it should be fine for me to kill you, right!? I gave you a small punishment before, but it did not seem to be enough, or you are just too stupid to even remember your lesson from the day before.” My eyes glowed slightly as she looked at the young man in front of her. He was about twice her height and more than double her age. But yet, he still came over to start a fight with her.

Myu raised her hand and pointed at the young man, but just before she could set him on fire, a hand waved in front of her face. “Alright, that is enough. Myu back down. Killing anyone inside the city is prohibited. Climbers are not to start fights outside sanctioned events or in the tower. But I must say your flames are on par with Kori’s. Just going near them makes my skin go red.”

Aeko appeared at the side. She had just come out of her guild to see what was taking Myu so long and saw Dio striking out at her little disciple. She was going to step but stopped when she saw the little girl easily block the blow. But when she saw Myu about to burn the area down, she finally moved to step in.

Myu pursed her lips and pulled back her flames. She raised the skewer in her hand, which was perfectly fine, and took a bite out of the meat. “Mm… Truly very good.”

The stall she was standing next to was not affected by the flames at all. Only the ground under her feet and Dio’s sword suffered at all. After swallowing her bite, she looked at Aeko, who was scratching her head, staring back at her. “Aeko, why did you stop me from burning Mr. Pervert?”

“Myu, you can not kill anyone in the city. It will put you in a bad place. Our powers can not be used on the street like this unless we have permission from the Guild Association.” Aeko explained. “This is to protect the non climbers who are here to work.”

“So Mr. Pervert can attack with a sword, and it is fine?” Myu asked as she reached for her weapon.

“Myu, wait!” Aeko yelled out. Stopping the young girl once more. “No, it is not fine. In fact….” Aeko turned towards Dio. “You will be brought in for attacking someone out in public. Myu’s use of her powers is a case of self defense. You, on the other hand, struck out with the intent to kill, which makes this a grave offense.”

“This is bull shit!” Dio turned and wanted to storm off. He did not believe anyone would try to stop him. Sadly for him, he was very wrong as a chain sword suddenly shot out and wrapped around his leg’s causing him to fall flat on his face before being dragged back. He turned to look to see who had done it only to see Myu grinning at him mockingly.

“No one said you could leave. Didn’t Aeko say you committed a crime? Did you think you could get off with attacking me like that?”
