Shizuku pushed the door open to find a wide room filled with lavish decorations. It did not look like a place that had been sitting for thousands of years. The entire room looked spotless. As she stepped through the door, she only took three steps when she realized something was off. She turned to see both Mei and Miyumi seemingly being blocked by an invisible barrier. “This….”

“Welcome… Sister….” A voice echoed through the room. Shizuku quickly turned her head to see a young man sitting on the throne. His pale skin and a cocky smile that revealed a set of fangs told her one thing about him. A vampire.

“I do not have any siblings, so I am sorry to say that you are not my brother. Nor do I plan to take in any siblings. But from the looks of it, you have not had a drop of blood in a while. You can not hide the drool hanging from your lips.” Shizuku looked at the young man and frowned. She did not like the look in his eyes. It was as if he was looking at his dinner.

“Hmmm…. Shouldn’t a sister give in to her brother? You just need to sit there and let me drink your blood.” The young man stood up and then disappeared. When he reappeared, he was right behind Shizuku, his left arm hugging her waist and his other grabbing the blade of her blood sword. His expression was not good at all. “Hmmm…” the young man jumped back and disappeared again.

“Did you think I would just let you chomp down? Sorry, but only my wives are allowed to eat me. I have no interest in guys.” Shizuku let out a snort. “You are too green. I have no idea why your castle would appear here. But it seems I am being tested. To think I would have to go against one of my own kind this early. Sadly….”

Shizuku tilted her head and grinned. “You are only a pawn as well. Now die.”

*Boom!*

“Argh!” The young man let out a pained cry as his arm exploded. Shizuku was a little surprised since she thought she could invade his bloodstream faster, but it seemed she was slightly mistaken.

The young man looked at Shizuku with a murderous gaze. He had never been so humiliated. “You bitch! Do you know how long I have lived for!? Do you know how long I have waited for my own kind to arrive here!?”

“I could care less….” Shizuku replied. She watched as the young man suddenly waved his hand, creating hundreds of magic circles all at once.

“Heh… don’t think rankings mean anything. As long as I wish it, you will die here!” The young man yelled out. At the same time, hundreds of ice spears shot at Shizuku. She quickly went on the defense and began blocking them with her sword. And dodging what she could.

Outside watching the scene, both Miyumi and Mei's eyes were wide. They never expected to meet a vampire in a dungeon. “Shizuku will be okay, right?”

“This is nothing…. Master’s mother’s sword is faster than these spells.” Mei remembered how quickly Margret could stab at her master. The sword seemed to split into thousands of swords, and her master had to dodge each one or end up being sent flying. Luckily, it was a blunt tip, or her master would have died a thousand times over back then.

“I see….” Miyumi was a little surprised she did not think that Margret, who was so kind, was a demon when training Shizuku. But then again, to get her daughter for the real world, maybe she could imagine it.

Back in the room, Shizuku was purely on the defensive. She had to admit it was hard to do anything when the enemy was raining attack after attack down on her head. But she did not find herself feeling threatened.

“You are really annoying. So you only have the ability to use magic?” Shizuku had been a little curious about this. Why was it that he was only using magic? Why was he not using blood?

“All vampires are blessed with the ability to use magic at will. This is what makes us powerful!” The young man shouted, but his answer confused Shizuku. She was a vampire, and she only had blood manipulation! Wasn’t this a vampire trait?

“And how many vampires have you spoken to?” Shizuku decided to dig a bit more. The more she understood about her own race, the better. Since this was the first vampire she had ever come in contact with so far, she hoped to gain a bit more of an understanding.

“Stalling for time!? Are you trying to figure out how to defeat me? My mana never runs dry! As long as I am here in this castle, I am invincible!” The young man shouted.

Shizuku furrowed her brow. “Can you just shut up and tell me how many of our race you have spoken to?”

“Too many to count. This entire castle was once filled with our kind. But as time went on, I had to use their blood as a means of keeping myself alive. Did you not see the ghouls and skeletons?” The young man answered. But his answer confused Shizuku even more. She did not seem to understand, was this dungeon was a dungeon or something else?
