“Hmmm?” Shizuku was very much confused by Amy’s words. “Why wouldn’t I be alive?”

“You have been gone for many days! Everyone thought you died or something bad happened to you. Where on earth have you been!?” Amy was very concerned since she had taken a liking to Shizuku. The girl might be a Fallen, but she is very polite. Even the way she treats her slave is evidence of her character.

“I was in the dungeon farming?” Shizuku pointed to the sacks on the floor. “This should be enough for a few gold, right?”

“Huh!? Wait… Where the hell did you get all of this!?” Amy was shocked when she saw the sacks. It was beyond what a rookie could ever get.

“I killed monster after monster until my sacks filled up. I found a few quick respawn points and camped them.” Shizuku continued with her normal excuse.

“This…. You have too much luck! What level are you now?” Amy asked.

“Ten!”

Shizuku noticed that as soon as she hit level ten, the experience she got was so little that she could not even gain even a quarter of a level even after killing a few hundred monsters.

“Level 10…. And you just started. This is just…. At this rate, you will out level the dungeon in no time. I guess this means you can tackle the third floor. But you need to be careful in there. The third floor has completely different monsters than the previous two floors. It has ice wolves and dread spiders. There are also metal slimes and dive bats. While you can get half a silver to a silver per drop, they are not easy targets to fight.” Amy still had to give Shizuku a warning. She did not know how Shizuku was leveling so fast or how she just happened to find a quick respawn point for all these monsters. All she knew was that if Shizuku was not careful, she could easily lose her life.

“Oh, right! After I finish counting these, you need to head back to Margret. I heard she is going crazy looking for you.” Amy had forgotten that Margret had stopped by earlier looking for Shizuku.

*Bang!*

The guild’s doors swung. “Big news! Devil Margret just charged into High Priest Elston’s home and dragged his son out!”

“Ah…. I knew this would not end well.” Amy held her forehead. She looked at Shizuku and said: “I think you need to go and stop her before she kills someone.”

Shizuku sighed and went over to the young man who came in just now. “Where is she?”

“Hmm? Oh! The Fallen girl. Right. Wait… didn’t you die!? Crap! Come with me! Devil Margret thinks you are being cornered in the dungeon.” The young man grabbed Shizuku’s wrist and pulled her along. Although he only got two steps before Mei took him to the floor.

“How dare you touch my master!” Mei yelled out, her eyes cold as ice.

“Wait! I didn’t mean it like that! We need to hurry!” The young man realized his mistake and knew he should not have grabbed Shizuku, but he still had no time to fear Mei since he knew time was of the essence.

“Mei, let him up. We need to go stop Margret.” Shizuku was not bothered at all about being pulled along. She knew the young man was in a hurry, and so was she. However, if he pulled her too long, she would have thrown her arm off.

Mei snorted and stood up. But she kept her vigilance. She knew how many hated Shizuku. She disliked the fact that her kind master, who treated her so well, was being hated for no reason.

“Thanks. Come quick. Before She does something stupid.” The young man sprang to his feet and ran out of the guild. Shizuku and Mei quickly followed after him.

In the middle of the street near the meat stall Shizuku had gone to before, Sandy and Robert were on their knees, looking at one another. Both of whom were glaring at each other as if they were their worst enemy. “How dare you say that I was the reason for the Fallen’s disappearance. The entire thing was planned and executed by you!” Robert yelled out. He is damned if he let this woman push the blame on him!

“Hah! You forced me to do it! You said that if I didn’t, you would make it so I could no longer live in the capital! You even said that I had to bed you. I was forced to give up my virginity…. ” Of course, Sandy was no pushover either. She knew how to play the crowd. She let a few tears roll down her cheek as she lowered her head with a pitiful expression on her face.

A massive sword slammed into the ground between the two, causing the ground to crack. “I have heard enough! You are both passing blame, which means you are both guilty. If my Shizuku is not here by nightfall, then I will be taking both of your heads!”
