"Event now over! Prepare to be teleported in one minute!"  A loud announcement was heard overhead as Lexy and the girls were traveling through the woods looking for more prey.

"Meet up in Grove Town!" Lexy wanted to hang out with these two girls a little longer. But sadly, she forgot one thing…

"Sorry, Lexy, but I need to log off for the night. I have work in the morning." Staple frowned. She was actually enjoying her time with her two new friends. She found that being with Lexy was never boring.

"Mm… I also have to log out… I have morning classes at college tomorrow..." Megalim lowered her head. She did not want to log off at all. She hated the real world more than anything. And even more so now that she had actually made friends for the first time in her life.

Lexy's ears sagged, and her tail along with it. She had become used to being in game all the time that it started to become her norm. She had forgotten that this was actually a game to the others. As she was lost in thought, she felt two warm bodies embrace her. She looked up to see both Megalim and Staple hugging her.  Staple pulled back from the hug and reached up and scratched Lexy's head with a smile. "I will log back in as soon as I get out tomorrow. I will message you right away."

Lexy smiled and nodded her head. Her cheeks blushing slightly from this sudden skinship. As for Megalim, she was too busy pushing her face between Lexy's breasts. "I don't want to log out… The real world sucks..."

Her words made Lexy remember what Megalim said earlier when they first met. Lexy smiled softly and hugged Megalim back while gently rubbing her back. She sighed as she spoke softly: "We will meet tomorrow."

As Lexy said these words, all three were teleported away. Lexy found herself in the spot where she was originally teleported from, and next to her was Olivia. "Hehe! V!" Olivia grinned widely and gave Lexy a 'V' sign.

Lexy smiled and knew that Olivia did well. "So, how was it?"

"You got rid of the princess! I got rid of the king!" Olivia said proudly with her head held high and her hands on her hips. Lexy already knew she was looking for praise.

"That is our World Domination guild leader! No one can beat us!" Lexy said with a half forced excitement.

"Hehe! That's right! Lexy, remember one thing. Our guild will stand at the top. No matter what, we will be the number one guild of New World Online. I will make it happen. I hope you can help me with this." Olivia had her own reasons for wanting to be number one.  She was just not ready to explain it to anyone else just yet. But she could not hide the hopeful, expectant look in her eyes as she looked at Lexy.

Lexy smiled and nodded her head. "I wouldn't have it any other way! Let's rise to the top and walk the path of legends!"

"I knew you would understand!" Olivia was so happy she hugged Lexy tightly, smashing Lexy's face into her hard metal armor. Lexy couldn't help but look at her health bar and how she just had lost ten percent of her health. But since Olivia was happy, she wouldn't ruin the mood by complaining about it.

A few minutes later, the weird monster from before appeared in the air above the town center: "Well done, everyone! We had some surprising results! What those results are…. You, will, need to wait until tomorrow to find out! All results will be posted in game on a special bulletin board. All top players will be ranked according to their level range. Even if they pass this level, their names will still stay on the board until someone defeats their record. An award ceremony will also be held for the top three of each level range. Event highlights will also be broadcasted on a new magic screen above the winners' board tomorrow. Until then, play safe!"

"Aww! I wanted to know where I placed!" Olivia frowned as she finally let go of Lexy. "What are your plans, Lexy?"

"Probably head to the inn for a bit and relax. Or go level some more… Not sure yet." Lexy was tired, but she did take a nap inside the event. Megalim even let her use her thigh as a pillow.

Olivia frowned and grabbed Lexy by the hand. "Lexy, maybe you should log off and get some rest."

Lexy scratched her head with her free hand, not knowing what to say. She could only nod her head, smile, and say: "I will do that then after I do a few things."

Olivia gave her a strange look but did not say anything. "Alright… I will talk to you tomorrow."

After Olivia logged out, Lexy scratched her head while mumbling to herself. "Ahh! I hate lying to her, but how would I tell her that I can't even log out. That I am basically a dead person stuck in a game."

Lexy turned and began walking towards the inn when she saw a familiar pointy hat walking down the street. "Megalim!?"

Megalim slowly turned around, her eyes that seemed sad suddenly became bright as she smiled and waved at Lexy: "Lexy!"

Lexy ran over to her and asked: "I thought you were logging out?"

"No… Well, I was but… I really do not want to deal with real life..." Megalim said truthfully.

"Well… I was headed to the inn to get some food. Do you want to hang out a bit before you log out?" Lexy could see Megalim did not need to be alone right now, and since she was doing nothing anyways, there was no reason not to keep the girl company.

"Alright!"  Megalim beamed a bright smile and latched onto Lexy's arm.

Lexy smiled and headed to the inn. She actually wondered why Megalim did not wish to leave the game. But she knew it was not her place to ask or pry in real life things unless Megalim wanted to tell her on her own.
