"You brought a friend today." The middle aged woman said with a smile as she placed two heaping plates of food on the table in front of Lexy and Megalim. "You girls enjoy."

"Thank you!" Lexy smiled as she took a big bite of the meat on her plate. It was what one would call manga meat, but for Lexy, it tasted out of this world. So her expressions as she ate were enough to get the other customers flying to the counter to order the same thing.

"You looked like you are really enjoying that, Lexy." Megalim saw Lexy's blissful expression and giggled.

"Mmm… Foff min fame waste azafing!" Lexy's mouth was stuffed full of meat, making her words hard to understand, but Megalim seemed to know what she was saying.

"It does taste good. Much better than what I usually eat..." Megalim sighed as she took a bite of the meat. The taste alone added in with Lexy's expressions made the food in her mouth taste better than anything she had ever eaten before.

"Cough! Hah! Oh wow, that tastes so good." Taking a drink, Lexy let out a pleased sigh. She looked over at Megalim, who was eating but seemed lost in thought, and tilted her head to the side. She watched as Megalim took bite after bite of food silently and wondered what was bothering her new friend. Scratching her head, unable to take it anymore, Lexy decided to ask even though she knew she shouldn't. "Megalim, is everything okay? I mean that is if you want to talk. I may still be a stranger to you, but I just can't help but feel concerned for you when I see you so troubled."

"I ummm… Can we talk in private after we eat?" Megalim asked with a faint smile. She thought maybe talking about her problems would help some…

"Sure! I am your friend, so anytime you need someone to talk to, let me know." Lexy was glad Megalim was willing to open up to her. She knew something was wrong and also knew the golden rule of never asking about private real life matters online, but after hearing the poor girl's cries earlier in the day, she could not leave Megalim alone. She felt that this girl needed someone to talk to, to let out everything she had bottled inside her.

Lexy had heard of many people who have had rough lives who were constantly bullied and the like, whether it was school, work, or just at home in general. Some people are unable to cope with such situations, and then they would… Lexy hated thinking about such outcomes. She did not want this for Megalim.

The girls finished their dinner, and Lexy brought Megalim up to her presidential suite, or rather it should be called a noble suite. Megalim looked at the expensive inn room in awe. She never thought that the game had such a place. "Lexy, this place is quite amazing..."

"Mmm.. Comes with its own bath as well. When I leave this town, I will miss having such an extravagant room. Come sit. I will make tea." Lexy said brought Megalim to the sitting area before walking towards the kitchen. She could finally use the stove since she could now cast fireball. She took the pot from the cupboard and used some water magic to fill it up before heating it. She had learned this method by watching Megalim during the event. Once it was hot, she put some tea into two cups and poured the hot water on top.

Lexy saw the notification and smiled. She was glad it was an easy trade skill to get. She knew how to cook some, but it was normally ramen noodles and microwaved food. But with this skill, as long as she successfully cooks something and she leveled up the skill, it will taste better no matter how bad it looked.

With two steaming cups of tea in hand, she walked back to the sitting room and placed one down in front of Megalim. Megalim looked up at Lexy and smiled as she said: "Thank you… I think this is the first time anyone has made anything for me..."

"Well, it won't be the last time because I just got the cooking trade skill! So just leave it to me!" Lexy replied while patting her chest.

"Hehe… Lexy, you are a very kind person, did you know that?" Megalim asked as she sipped her tea. It was hot and hardly tasted like tea, but to Megalim, it was as if she was drinking the elixir of life, she savored every sip.

"I do not know if I am kind or not. But when I see a friend who seems troubled, I can not look the other way." Lexy scratched her head. She barely knew Megalim, but she felt the need to help her.

"This is why you are so kind. We just met today and played together for a while, but here you are, showing concern for me and even willing to listen to my worries. A person like me who is seen as nothing but a bother to those around me." Megalim went quiet as she fiddled with the cup in her hand. She could see her reflection in the almost clear tea. She was at war with her own inner turmoil. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked up at Lexy and asked: "Lexy will you listen to my story? It will take a while but if you have time I would like to have you listen and know the real me..."

"I will listen to anything you wish to tell me. Megalim when I said I would be your friend I meant it. So if you need a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to your worries I will be there to help you as best as I can."
