Seeing her new skills, Lexy hummed happily as she quickly cast heal on herself. "Alright. Nana gave me two new spells, so we should be able to get through this quicker."

"You know, I think having an overpowered collar is a little unfair." Megalim looked at the collar on Lexy's neck with a bit of envy. She did not covet it. It was just the fact that she had to work hard on all her spells, but Lexy just had to ask Nana to get new spells.

"Little girl, I am not a collar. Well, right now, I am, but my true form is one thousand times more majestic than you could ever imagine!" Nana didn't like being called an overpowered collar, although she did not deny the overpowered part.

"Yes, yes, you are the most majestic." Megalim was only saying this because the collar did look cute on her Lexy.

"Humph!" Nana snorted but did not say anything else.

Lexy flicked the bell on her neck before standing up. "We should get going. We do not want to fail the quest before we took too long."

"Alright!" Megalim nodded and got back into battle mode.

The two girls continued forward. They were forced to kill many undead monsters before finally reaching the mountain cliffside. You could not see the top of this cliff as it rose up high into the sky. Lexy could only see a few ledges dotted here and there that protrude out. Just looking up at this cliffside made Lexy frown.

[Level]: 15 → 17

"Lexy, what do we do now? I am not the best at climbing. Staple had to help me climb up the tree during the event..."

"I will go up, but I am worried about you… If I leave and you are attacked..." Lexy really couldn't leave Megalim behind. She was a lower level than herself and did not have much defense.

"I will go with you… If you help me along, I am sure I can make it up..." Megalim's voice shook slightly. It did not seem she had much confidence in her own words.

Lexy thought for a moment before pulling out a rope she had bought before venturing out. She wrapped one end around both her legs, around her waist, and up under her butt. She then used the other end to do the same to Megalim." I am not sure how well this will work, but it is worth a try. Just keep a good eye on the tie. I am not the best at tying." Although she said that whether she meant to or not, she did a perfect fish tie. Even if Megalim was to slip, the rope would not slip off her body. Not unless it was properly untied.

Lexy just hoped her strength was enough to hold Megalim in place if she were to slip and fall or if the two would just tumble down together. "Just watch where I put my hands. I will try to take the easiest path."

"Mmm.." Megalim hummed in acknowledgment as she nodded her head. She then watched as Lexy began scaling the cliffside.

Luckily this cliff was very good for climbing as it had many solid places for Lexy to grab on to as well as places to be used as footholds. In no time at all, she was already high enough to allow Megalim the chance to begin climbing.

[Acquired Passive Skill: Rock Climbing]

[While climbing rocky slopes, gain +30 strength.]

Lexy saw this new passive skill and smiled. Lexy felt this skill popping up for her was a little too convenient. "If this was a novel or manga, I would be shouting: hey author, you're being a little too nice on the plot armor, are you not!?" Lexy thought to herself. But she also breathed a sigh of relief. This extra strength boost is what she needed the most. Looking down at the girl below who was trying to slowly climb up, Lexy smiled. "Right hand to the right a bit more. There you go!"

Lexy continued to climb when she felt slack and watched over Megalim as she followed after her. The girls continued to climb like this in a very slow manner. But one issue that Lexy noticed was Megalim was starting to get tired. Lexy looked around and saw a ledge just big enough for the two of them to perch on top of and rest. "Just a little further, and we can rest. Can you make it?"

"Hah! Hah! Yeah, I can..." Megalim was truly almost at the end of her rope. She couldn't help but look up at Lexy apologetically. But in return, she got a warm smile from Lexy, which warmed her heart. It was one of those, Ah… This person really cares about me, moments.

Lexy looked back up at the ledge, which was about three minutes up if she sped up, but with how tired Megalim looked, it would probably take her even longer to reach there if she could hold on. After debating for a few seconds, Lexy came to a decision. And slowly climbed down towards Megalim. "Lexy?" Megalim gave Lexy a confused look.

"Climb up on my back. I will carry you. You got the strength passive, right?" Lexy asked.

"I did, but I still feel very weak. I do not know why. But Lexy, are you sure you can carry me?" Megalim asked worriedly.

"Yeah, it's fine. I will carry you up to the ledge so you can rest." Lexy replied with a smile.

Megalim felt bad for doing this, but she truly felt like her arms were ready to fall off.  She carefully climbed up onto Lexy's back and hugged her tight but not too tight.

Seeing how Megalim was now secure, Lexy began climbing back up once more. She was a little slower than before but  only by a little. But there was one thing the two girls never thought about and that was once they climbed up, they still had to climb down.
