“You plan to make a new guild!?” Myu was surprised. She had no idea how hard it was to start a guild, but just the idea of joining a guild alone was inconceivable to her. She had just become a climber, so it was not like she could produce any kind of achievements in a short amount of time.

“Yep! I got the idea today after dealing with Dio and meeting up with you. I have quite a lot of funds just sitting around as well. I do not plan to pouch anyone either. So it will just be the two of us at the start. What do you think? I plan to make an all female guild. Do you want to build a new guild with me?” Kori asked. She knew Myu had just become a climber, but from her power alone, it rivaled her own. If she was able to give Myu the experience she needed, then she would be able to grow much quicker than a climber who has no backing.

Myu was not one to let go of good chances. This was probably her own chance to join a guild in the foreseeable future, and to be working under the Ice Princess herself was already a plus for her. And she said it would be an all female guild which would be much safer for her to be in, especially in groups. There had been instances where females would team up with males and end up being taken advantage of in more than one way. While she may be young, there were many people out there with strange tastes. “If you are willing to take someone in who has no idea what they are doing, then I will gladly join you.”

“Great!” Kori was so happy that she reached up and patted Myu’s head. The soft white hair mingled with her fingers for a few seconds before Kori realized she was not being burned. This made Kori smile even more as she thought: ‘This little one only lets those she trusts near her, it seems.’

“Tomorrow, I will be going out to look for a guild home. We do not need anything too fancy to start off. Just a house with a large yard which there are many we can find here in the city.” Kori added. She wanted to get things rolling as soon as possible. Once they had a guild house, they could begin doing other things. Kori had three priorities at this time. First was getting the guild house. Second was registering the new guild with the Guild Association that oversaw it. And finally, training Myu.

“Okay…” Myu nodded. She had no idea how to go about any of this.

“While I am house hunting, I will ask Aeko to help you with your training. As long as you are getting things settled, it will be good for you to practice as much as possible. I will bring you to the Aeko’s guild in the morning.” Kori laid back on the bed and stretched her arms. “For now, we should rest…. Well, You said you no longer need sleep, right?”

“Mmm… I will be outside enjoying the night air.” Myu stood up and stretched her arms and legs. “Just come get me when you wake. Have a good night.”

Myu waved goodbye before leaving the room. Kori propped herself up with her elbows and wondered even more about the full extent of Myu’s powers. If this girl really had a power stronger than her own, then maybe…. Just maybe they could finally make it to the eleventh floor.

No one actually knew that at one point that all three of the top guilds had attempted the tenth floor boss. It was a secret due to the fact that it was also the biggest failure of all time. They had lost quite a few people at that time, making it hard to continue on. For the past few years, they have only been able to roam around the tenth floor farming materials and trying to grow stronger, but since the first attempt, no one has been willing to try again.

The idea of death, no matter if you were a climber or not, was something that could stall progress for everyone. It takes courage to take that first step forward to risk it all, and try to come out on top. Kori had also been quite sick of no one willing to take that step forward. She had been waiting for a new team to be built up this entire time to try the tenth floor boss, but every time she asked, the question would be avoided like the plague.

It seemed the original ambition that these top guilds had was all lost after their first major defeat. Now they just lived lazy lives making money off the tower with no intention of progressing further.

While Kori was lying down to sleep, Myu had already laid down on the grass in the backyard and was once more looking up at the sky. The stars twinkled in and out, making for a really nice light show for her to see. “Rio, you will never believe it! I am being trained by Aeko from Gales Expanse! I am learning how to use a chain sword. It is quite the unique weapon with a lot of utility to it. Not only that, but I will also be forming a new guild with the Ice Princess herself! I never thought I would ever get to join a guild so soon never mind forming a new one with someone so well known and powerful. Rio, the day, I make my wish will one day come and when it does, I will be sure to tell you many many more stories.”

After talking to Rio, Myu began practicing her new weapon. She did not waste a single moment. She never got tired and she never felt as if she was out of breath. She seemed more like a machine than anything else. She continued her training all the way until the early morning hours….
