Mich did not get to sleep very much. He had been woken up many times by loud explosions in the backyard. He had wanted to let the little girl who was diligently practicing, that she should learn that there was a time and place for everything. But sadly when he did get out of bed to go talk with her. He saw her serious expression and began watching her. He watched as she messed up. How she hit herself many times but still continued as if she had not cut or stabbed herself at all.

While he should have tried to stop her, he really couldn’t bring himself to do it. It felt like he was watching a legend in the making. Someone who was slowly learning how to walk. In the end, he had nodded off on the doorstep and only awoke when someone gently shook him. “Mich?”

“Hmmm?” Mich lifted his head to see a young girl’s face looking right back at him. “Is it morning already?”

“Yes… But ummm… I kinda destroyed your backyard….” Myu lowered her head. She did not even realize she was destroying things. At one point she had gotten the hang of her weapon and after that everything was a blur.

Mich leaned to the side and looked past Myu to see that what she said was true. But more importantly, he wanted to know how a little girl could so easily create craters in the ground that were tens of feet deep! But he also did not mind. “It’s fine. Just filled the holes back in as much as possible.”

“Okay!” Myu nodded her head like a baby chick. Internally she was wiping the imaginary sweat away from her forehead. She did not wish to get kicked out because of how she destroyed things. She had to make sure she did not train at night anymore.

“Myu!” A voice came from the window. Both Mich and Myu looked up to see a half asleep Kori leaning out the window. “I will have a friend come over later to fix the backyard but do not go destroying it again. This is a one time deal, got it?”

“Yes!” Myu nodded once more while smiling sweetly at Kori. She owed Kori yet again!

“Haha! Looks like you get off free today. Just make sure you do not destroy my yard again, please. It will take time to repair. And Tio likes to play out back.” Mich made sure that the emphasized the last line. Tio did indeed like to play out back, and it was also the safest place for her to play besides inside the house, but now with the yard looking like a war zone, she could not go out until it was fixed.

“I guess I should get breakfast ready then.” Mich stood up and stretched his limbs. He was dead tired, but he knew he had to work no matter what.

“I don’t need breakfast. I will wait for Kori to get ready.” Myu was sure now that she did not need food or sleep. She didn’t even feel tired after training for so long. She felt is was strange, but she also felt this was not so bad either. She could save more money and buy other things she would need in the future. Her goal was not to live lavishly but to climb the tower to its highest floor.

After breakfast, Kori brought Myu to train with Aeko before going to speak to her friend to request them to help fix Mich’s backyard. After that, she walked over to the Guild Association. The Guild Association was not in some huge building. It was only two stories tall, but it kept a record of all the guilds. Their current status, as well as all the members each guild had. It also laid down certain laws between guilds to keep the peace.

One thing could be said, and that was that while they did not seem it, the Guild Association had a lot of power. But at the same time, they did not abuse this power which kept everyone happy.

Kori walked over to the counter where a woman in her later years was busy making some kind of craft. Kori did not know what exactly, but it was definitely intricate and made of wood, from what she could tell. “Excuse me. I am here to register a new guild.”

“Hmmm?” The woman looked up and raised an eyebrow when she saw Kori. “An’t you in the t guild Airia’s Blessing? What idiot allowed you t leave?”

“I quit yesterday due to some things. I am here to create my own guild now.” Kori replied with a smile. He felt really refreshed to know that she would once again be able to climb and continue on. With Myu and a few others she had in mind, she might just be able to get past the tenth floor.

“Alright. The registration fee is ten gold. I need a guild name and current members.” The woman did not care why Kori left her guild. It was none of her business. She just knew that whatever the reason was, that guild would regret it.

“Here is the ten gold, and as for the guild name, I was thinking Phantasia Onerios. As for members, that would be myself and a girl named Myu. She is a new awakened.” Kori replied as she handed over the ten gold.

The woman took the gold and began filling out a form. Once she was done, she took the form and touched it to a purple orb at her side. The orb lit up slightly, and then seconds later, the paper disappeared. A small metal looking object appeared next to the purple orb.  The woman picked it up and handed it to Kori. “This is your guild registration. Be sure to keep it safe. It will cost two gold for a new one.”
