The Guild Association….

Standing in the middle of the guild in front of an old man known to be the head of the guild, the guards who were restraining Dio, the stall owner, Myu, Aeko, and Kori were waiting for the final judgment.

“Dio of Airia’s Blessing, what do you have to say for yourself?” The old man asked. He had already heard all accounts of what happened, so he had already come to his decision, but he still needed to hear Dio’s side of things.

“Nothing but Slander! If everything was true, then why am I the one who looks a mess, but the little girl is fine!?” Dio replied with a snort. He would not give in so easily!

“Because you are too weak to even fight a ten year old.” Myu answered without caring about where she was. She was someone from the slums, and to her, the Guild Association meant nothing.  She did not care about some association and only cared about growing stronger.

“Quiet little one.” The old man glared at Myu. He did not want a fight to break out here.

“What? I was just telling the truth. Am I not allowed to even tell the truth?” Myu asked. The old man wanted to retort, but he couldn’t! She was really telling the truth. If he faulted her for speaking the truth, then he would be seen as siding with the man who caused this mess!

“Just do not speak unless spoken to, even if what you say is true.” The old man decided to word things better. This way, Myu would not get mad. Luckily it seemed to work as Myu shrugged and pursed her lips, and began fiddling with her weapon.

“Dio, there are multiple witnesses as well as a few guards backing up their story. As such, I will be visiting your guild leader after we are done here to see what kind of punishment you should be enduring after you get out of jail. As no one but yourself was hurt this time around, I will give you a two week jail sentence on top of whatever your guild leader decides. I can’t do much more than this, so do not ask for anymore.” The old man knew Dio was getting off lightly, but he could only confine him for a short time, and the rest would need to be dealt with by Dio’s guild leader.

The person who should have been concerned about all of this the most when it came to Dio’s sentence was not even paying attention anymore. She had long lost interest in what was going on. She had long decided to just kill Dio when she saw him in the tower. No one would be able to stop her either.

“Alright, it is settled then. You all can go home. We will take Dio into custody.” The old man nodded to the guards who dragged Dio further into the guild, kicking and screaming about how he was being framed. People just stared at him and shook their heads.

“Then we will be off. Myu, come with me. Our guild house should be ready by now.” Kori patted Myu on the head, causing the young girl to look up at her questioningly. Kori chuckled as she said: “Our guild had officially been created, and our guild home is already bought. I am the guild leader while you are Phantasia Oneiros’s first member.”

Myu raised her eyebrows. She did not think that Kori would have everything settled so quickly. So this news was quite a surprise to her. “Then let’s go.” Myu was really looking forward to this. This meant she could spend literally all night practicing with her weapon and even during the day without needing to worry about destroying anything.

As Myu and Kori walked out of the Guild Association, Aeko suddenly felt left out as she called out. “Hey, wait for me!”

The three girls headed to a small building three blocks away. It had two floors and was nowhere near as big as Airia’s Blessing’s guild house nor Gales Expanses guild house, but it was still a decent size. Aeko took a look at the build and let out a whistle. “Kori, are you sure you can keep this place clean yourself?”

“I will be getting a few orphans from the slums to do the work here just like the other guilds. Although they will all be girls as this is a girls only guild.” Kori replied.

“I see… I guess after dealing with Dio’s shit for so long, I see why you would want that. But wouldn’t that mean if you get the urge, you will need to ask another gi… Ouch! Why did you hit me!?” Aeko rubbed the back of her head. There was a small lump there now.

“Don’t say things that are not needed in front of Myu!” Kori roared, causing Aeko to give a mischievous smile.

“Okay~!” Aeko sealed her lips. She knew Kori was still green when it came to those sorts of things as well. “But still, this place is huge for just the two of you. Maybe I should move in too.”

“I am not planning on pouching people, but if you want to live here, you can. You can train Myu.” Kori was not one to say no to good help. Whether Aeko joined her guild or not was another story. One did not need to live in their guild. They could buy a house if they so wished. But most stayed at the guild since it could be months before they returned from the tower. One trip to the tenth floor and back could take a month. And that is if you just went there and back, but if you planned to farm, it was a different story.
