“Hmmm… Alright, deal! It would make things easier for me. And I can serve as a guard for the time being as well. I highly doubt that Dio will get much punishment since this was not directed toward you. While you were involved at the end, it was not you who was harmed in any way or attacked. So he will probably get a slap on the wrist. I hate to admit it, but that idiot is still one of the strongest people on the tenth floor, and Airia’s Blessing still needs him, especially now that you have left.” Aeko was looking at things realistically. She knew now that this had happened Dio, who was narrow minded, would not let Myu go, and since Kori was now no longer part of the guild, he would probably try to attempt something. He may be good at fighting, but his brain shuts off when it comes to Kori.

“Well, I am not sure about Dio coming here. He would need to deal with Myu. She doesn’t need sleep, it seems.” Kori said as she reached over and placed her hand on Myu’s head. “Am I right saying this?”

“Mmm… if he shows up, I will burn him.” Myu nodded. It seemed she missed what Kori was talking about. Kori could only sigh. She had noticed this little girl seemed quite the violent one. But even so, the little girl was quite cute either way. It made it hard for you to just hate her outright unless you were the one suffering because of her.

“Well, anyway, as you can see, Myu doesn’t sleep, so she would be the first to meet him before we even wake up,” Kori explained.

“Isn’t that more dangerous? Like for Dio?” Aeko had been training Myu, so she was very much aware that this little girl was much more than a human torch. She was able to use her chain sword very well, even after only a short time of training.

“Well, Dio will just need to watch his back then.” Kori chuckled as she gently patted Myu’s head. “Let’s look the place over.”

Kori herself had not even seen the place, so this was her first time looking around as well. The three girls inspected the first floor first. It was mainly small rooms that could be used for meeting rooms or offices. Normally a guild would have normal humans working as guild staff. And one wing of the first floor would be used for the guild staff who did not have a place to stay. There was a huge kitchen room enough for twenty or so cooks to work in with room to spare. A bunch of large freezers using technology that was found in the tower.

Two large bathrooms for men and women. Then the receptionist’s desk, which was in the main room which, had a set of stairs to the left of it leading up to the second floor. Behind the desk was a door that led to a small office area. And on the right was the door leading out towards the training area.

Upstairs there were two large rooms that both Kori and Myu would be taking. Aeko took the third largest room, which was smaller than Myu’s, while the rest were small single rooms with room enough for a small chest, a  desk or nightstand, and a bed.

“I don’t really need a room….” Myu pursed her lips. It was not like she had things or even had the ability to wear different clothes.

“You can have a room to store things like weapons or items you decide to save from the dungeon. Whether you use it for anything other than a storage room is up to you. But it will look bad if my star recruit is without a room or using a smaller room.” Kori wanted Myu to have a place she could consider home. It did not matter if she did not use it much as long as she could come back to the guild and say that this place is mine.

“Mmm…” Myu nodded as she looked at the large room. It had a large bed, a desk, a nightstand, and even a place to hang clothes. There were even two large chests with locks on them.

“Settle in. We will go look around a bit more.” Kori patted Myu on the head and pulled Aeko out of the room. She wanted to give Myu time to take in her new surroundings.

Myu’s boots turned into flames and sucked into her body, revealing her two small feet as she slowly stepped on the carpeted floor. The soft fluffy feeling from the carpet felt good on her feet and was something she had never experienced before. She wondered if it was alright for her to have such a big room for a person like her. She had to admit, though, the feeling of the soft carpet between her toes felt good.

She walked over to the bed and sat down. The mattress was soft as well. Everything was very high quality. She laid down and let her body sink into it as she stared up at the ceiling. Rio…. I have a room of my very own. I even joined a guild. One that the Ice Princess herself formed. I will need to go back and say goodbye to the innkeeper and little Tio. Although I did not stay there for long, they were very nice to me. But Rio, I wonder….. Is it alright for me to be getting such good treatment? I wonder if it is okay for me to be treated in such a way when you have already passed on….  No…. You would want me to have a life like this… But no matter what, Rio, I will one day reach the top.”

“Myu! Come on, we need to go to the inn!” Kori called out to Myu. Myu sat up and closed her eyes for a second before getting up and walking out of the room. She would deal with what was to come from now on one step at a time.
