Lexy had a bad feeling seeing the frog eye her prize. She quickly jumped back as fast as she could. Just as she landed and looked up, she saw the frog attacking where she once stood. She quickly stored the plant away and jumped back a few more times to make some room. When the frog saw that the plant was gone, its eyes began to glow red!

*RIIIIIIBBBBIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!*

"Err… why does this thing look like some kind of field boss all of a sudden!?" The glowing eyes and fearsome ribbit from the frog caused a chill to run down Lexy's spine. She quickly turned around and booked it towards the town. But it seemed the frog was not happy seeing the one who stole its treasure run away!  It hopped after her lashing out with its tongue left and right.

"Eek!" Lexy was almost dancing as she dodged back and forth as she ran for her life. For some reason, she felt that the town gates were miles away. But even still, she still tucked her tail between her legs and ran as fast as she could.  All the while, the shrill cries of the frog came from behind her.

*RIIIIIIBBBBIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!* *RIIIIIIBBBBIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!* *RIIIIIIBBBBIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!*

"Would you just leave me alone!?" Lexy shouted even though she knew it wouldn't matter. But the closer she got to the town, her face fell because the demon lord had respawned right in front of the town gates! "Damn it all to hell!"

The slime must have heard her because it bounced up and down and turned to look at her. Lexy could have sworn that it laughed mockingly at her. But she didn't care. She decided she would do the only thing that she could think of! Dodge and jump over the demon lord to safety!

As she got closer, she got ready to prepare for the jump. She was only ten feet away from making her heroic entrance! Four feet, two feet, and go! Lexy stomped off the ground and jumped into the air with all her might. She jumped up over the slime who had bounced at her and landed just over the village line…. Face first… With her rear sticking in the air. "Ow..."

"Hahaha! I never thought I would see the day when a tree frog with no attack power can make someone run as if their life depended on it! Ahahaha!" One of the guards burst out laughing.

"Wait, isn't this the same cat girl that got smacked dead by a slime earlier? To think I would get to see such a sight in my entire life. I watched a five year old smack fifty slimes to death in one attack just yesterday, and here is an adult feline who can't even beat a tree frog. It's not even a monster!" The other guard let out a hearty laugh too.

Lexy did not dare raise her head. Her face was bright red. She wanted to ask how the hell was she supposed to know a glowing eyed blue frog was not some kind of demon lord? Not daring to even get up, she decided to change her race to a snake and slither away. Her actions caused the guards to laugh even harder.

As she slithered away, she wondered. If that was not a monster, what the hell was with its war cries!? "Does this mean I am so weak that not even a small little tree frog saw me as a threat!? So wait, even if I beat the damn thing, it probably wouldn't have even given me experience points!?" This sudden realization really made Lexy want to find a hole to crawl in at this point.

Lexy made her way to a side alley and sat on a stack of boxes. She opened her inventory and grinned from ear to ear. "At least I was able to get the fruits of my labor. I wonder how much this plant will be worth. With the difficulty it took to get, it should be worth something, right?" Licking her lips, thinking about the inn room she was going to get, she looked down at her chest and started to giggle obscenely. She kept control of the hands that were wiggling fingers in front of her chest in a lewd manner.

"Ahem..." Recomposing herself, she hopped off the box she was sitting on and made her way towards one of the shops she spotted earlier. One shop that had a sign on it with some funny lettering and pictures of potion bottles had caught her eye the most.

As she opened the door, a bell sounded above her announcing her entry. She walked in and looked around at the wooden shelves that had many different potions on them and display cases of herbs. "May I help y… Gah! Crazy cat girl!."

"Hmmm?" Lexy could have sworn she heard a rude comment just now.  Not wanting to ruin her chance to sell her precious herb, she decided not to dwell on it. "Umm, I came to sell an herb, if you buy them..."

The middle aged woman who was sitting behind the counter seemed to have fallen into deep thought. 'If I do not buy it, will she go crazy and destroy my shop? Will she try to attack me?' After much  contemplation, the middle aged woman sighed and said: "What do you have?"

Lexy's eyes brightened as she opened her inventory and pulled out the herb she harvested and walked up to the counter to show the middle aged woman. "This here!"

"Hmm?"  The middle aged woman looked at the herb and frowned. She then looked at the pots next to her feet that had the same exact plant in them and then thought about the two fields in the back she had of this same plant and wanted to cry. "Ho-How much are you looking to get for this?"

"Hmmm…. I am not sure I was hoping to get enough for a room at the inn." Lexy replied in all earnesty while nodding her head.

"You… You want two silver for this?" The middle aged woman's whole body was shaking. "You really want two whole silver for this Mako plant!?"

"I er…. Umm… Yes?" Lexy was suddenly confused. She felt a dangerous presence all of a sudden, but there was only her and the middle aged woman in the shop at this time.

"Get out..." The middle aged woman said softly.

"Huh? I'm sorry I did not hear you..." Lexy really couldn't hear what the middle aged woman said because her voice was too low.

"I said get the hell out of my shop, you crazy cat girl! Get! Get! Get!"  The middle aged woman produced a broom from only god knows where and began swinging it at Lexy, hitting her over and over.

"Eek! I'm sorry!" Lexy was hit over and over with the broom causing her hp to drop quickly. She covered her head and ran out of the shop with her tail between her legs.  Luckily the middle aged woman did not chase after her after she left the shop. Otherwise, she would have died. She stood on the street looking at her empty hands and realized she had not grabbed her treasured plant! "Wait, my pl… Oof!"

Respawn… "My plant killed me!"
