It had been a long day already, and it was still not even noon. I was standing guard with one other guard when the lord's son came up running up.  "Help! Help! A beautiful monster ate Puchi!"

The lord's son was screaming and hollering, talking about a beautiful monster. When he finally came to stand before me, I noticed the leash in his hand seemed to have been bitten clean off. The lord's son went and told us what had happened after catching his breath. We, of course, believed him right away because the lord's son was a benevolent soul, and his dog was very precious to him since it was a gift from his mother, who had passed away recently. Not only that, but he was also an honest young man who never acted high and mighty like the other nobles' children did. So after listening to his story, I sent the young man into one of the viewing rooms so he could tell us when the person showed up.

And wouldn't you know it, a beautiful young girl around sixteen - seventeen years of age walked towards us with a large horned bear on her back just like the lord's son described. At first, I almost had doubts that a girl such as this would do such a thing, but when I realized her clothing was a bit tattered and there was a bloodstain on her cheek, where it looked like she had wiped the blood from her mouth, I had a feeling she was more than she seemed.

"Miss this way, please," I said to the girl who seemed to be stuck in place. To be honest, I did not want to do this, but I got word that this was indeed the girl in question. "Miss, please do not resist. We will take the bear to the adventurers guild for you and turn it in. We will provide a receipt from the guild, so you know that we are not trying to steal your items."

After I said these words, the other guard went to reach for the bear when out of nowhere a chain appeared! It was wrapped around the girl's wrists, and part of it was wrapped around her upper body. Before anyone could react, she had already swung one of the loose ends of the chain, hitting the other guard in the head instantly knocking him out.

The girl turned to leave but suddenly stopped in her footsteps and looked over at me as I was running towards the other guard to check his condition.  But before I could even reach him, the beautiful girl tossed out another chain and wrapped it around my neck. The look in her eye frightened me. It was as if she was looking at her next meal, and she had not eaten for days on end. Sweat dripped down my back, and the last thing I saw was a chain flying towards my head.

So I smacked the guard who tried to take my snack away from me with my chain and knocked him out. Now I had no choice but to run, but just as I turned to leave, I saw something that caught my eye.

Three skills I do not have! Not even thinking, I turned back around and wrapped a chain around the second guard's neck before knocking him out and bringing him with me. Am I really going to eat him, you ask? I have eaten Orcs, Elves, and Puchi. What's one human?

What, you will stop reading if I eat a human? It goes against human morals? Umm... have you not looked at my stats lately? I am far from being human anymore. If you want to talk about morals and all that, then talk to the whatever god that sent me to this place or whoever it was that summoned me.

Anyway, I am busy running right now because there are like thirty guards chasing after me. I have no idea where they were hiding, but they appeared out of nowhere and started chasing me. They are all around the same level as me, so if I get surrounded, I might die. But then again, this might be a good chance…

Biting my lip because I know this might hurt a bit, but it's the only way to raise these skills. I stop in my tracks and let myself get surrounded by the guards. Huh? Slut, you say? I am not an elf! I am about to let them cut me so I can improve my skills! Not at all what you are actually thinking! Wait, didn't you say you would stop reading if I was going to eat a human?

The guards all surrounded me, their swords drawn. Me? I pulled out my dull dagger. But I am starting to get nervous since some of these guards are giving me lecherous gazes. I am starting to think this was a bad idea. Look! One of the guards even put away this sword and is swaying his way towards me. I am not good with men… Why does he feel the need to put on a bright smile while looking at me like that? If he was handsome, then maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't mind... No, that is not the point this guard is disgusting looking, and he doesn't even have any decent skills!

"Little lady, how about we… Ahhhh!!! Hot!!! I am on fire!!!!" Oh… he lit up nicely… Wiping the imaginary sweat from my brow, I nodded my head in approval at the handy work of my first fireball before turning my focus back to the guards, who were now staring at me blankly. They seemed to be slowly backing away from me. Did I do something strange? Hurry up and come cut me so I can get this over with. Do you have any idea how much courage I had to muster up to stop and allow you all to cut me!? Come on, get it over with! Attack me!

"She can use magic! Back up and retreat!" I heard one of them yell. Oh, they are now running away. There goes all my fruitful efforts... Am I that scary?
